Niagara College Graduates present.... Project Brew Springfest!!

The other weekend I had the absolute pleasure of attending Project Brewfest 2016!!
The graduating class from the Niagara College’s Brewmaster and Brewery Operations Management program put on Project Brew Springfest on April 8th at Market Square in St. Catharines!
This Beer Fest represented the combination of four semesters of learning by these upcoming Brewers & Brewsters– not only was the beer created by the students, but they put on this rad festival as well!
This festival was appropriately themed around the 500th Anniversary of the German Beer Purity Law, the Reinheitsgebot. The festival featured 15 craft beers made by the passionate graduates; each brew individually created by them, starting at recipe design and finishing in your sample glass to pour down your throat.
There was also some traditional German inspired beer served from casks along with German inspired food all created from students at the college.

Overall it was an Awesome time... such good beer (way to go "kids") and I am thrilled to see the passion coming out of this program!
