Does Your Dog Have A Brain? Do You?

I love this picture of Bowie, not just because he's my dog and that he's ridiculously muddy and happy.
This shot reminds me of some of the street dogs we have worked with in Cancun and the Dominican over the last few years. The stance, the look, the head...it's brilliant.
If you ever get the chance to watch and study any form of wild dog you will be amazed at what you will learn.
Tiffany and I have spent countless hours in the Jungle studying wild dogs and it always blows our mind. These dogs put domesticated dogs to shame when it comes to using their brain.
Thought for the day: Break your dog out of it's regular routine for awhile and make them use their brain.
The human brain works the same, the more we change things up the more we use our brain and then the easier it is to learn new things in the future.
Here are some things you can change for your dog:
-Feed them at a different time -walk them somewhere new
-don't give them a treat when you normally do
-move their bed
-actually take them for a walk (a lot of people don't walk their dog)
Somethings you can change to make YOUR brain fire:
-drive a different route to work
-put your seat belt on with your left hand
-order your coffee by saying it differently
-go for a walk instead of watching TV
-etc...it's endless.
Get That Brain Firing.
And have a wonderful Monday
I'm off to get the dogs muddy!
Cheers,
Bernie
